Our WoW BBQ team travelled to Birmingham for one of the UK’s largest garden trade shows - Glee. Here we got to view one of Weber’s latest BBQ’s - The Weber Pulse Electric Grill.

Not only did we get a sneak preview of the product, we also got to do a taste test off it. Sceptical, we were but converts we are. Chicken skewers, steak and even pumpkin cake were all cooked on the new grill and the results were fantastic.

It is 100% possible to achieve a BBQ flavour off one of these new grills, honest!

Prices are to be announced but keep your eyes peeled for more information - this is a truly exciting product and definitely one that will be particular popular among are London based Weber fans!

The BBQ comes in two sizes, the Pulse 1000 and the Pulse 2000. This incredibly powerful grill is perfect for those of you not allowed to use a gas or charcoal BBQ on your balcony or terrace - especially perfect for our customers in London.

Producing 1800 watts of power, the Pulse 1000 is the entry level BBQ in this range. It has one heating element, which means it is perfect for any food that needs to be cooked directly e.g. Steaks, Burgers, chops and bacon. The Pulse 2000 on the other hand has two heating elements producing 2200 watts and they can be be controlled separately by 2 control knobs. This means, by turning off one of the heating elements, you are able to cook or roast large joints of meat indirectly.

In a similar vein to the Weber Q Range, the Weber Pulse BBQ comes with Porcelain Enamel Cast Iron cooking grates - these are fantastic for searing your meats and producing incredible char lines. These dense grates hold extremely hot temperatures and more importantly the heat is spread evenly, reducing the risk of cold spots in the BBQ.

In 2017, the UK market got its first taste of the Weber iGrill range - a great way to be able to assess the ambient temperature of the BBQ and also the internal temperature of your meat. This works in conjunction with your Smart Phone and Tablet and takes the guessing out of BBQ’ing. The new Weber Pulse range comes with an iGrill already integrated - determine the temperature you want of the BBQ and the Pulse will automatically set the BBQ to your desired temperature.

The new Weber Pulse will be available in the UK from us at the start of 2018. Keep an eye on our site for more information!

Weber Pulse Key Benefits

Dual Grill Zones The larger version Pulse, The Weber Pulse 2000 allows you to BBQ different foods at seperate temperatures - sear a steak over high heat on one side, while you can grill vegetables on a low heat on the other side.

Precise Temperature Control This is achieved by an LED display on the front control panel and ensures a precise and accurate temperature reading inside your Weber Pulse BBQ.

Integrated iGrill Technology This gives you even more control, allowing you to monitor the internal temperature of your meat from beginning to end through bluetooth real time on your iGrill App on your mobile device. Pick how you would like your steak cooked and take away the guess work!

Preheat Indicator Set your Weber Pulse Electric BBQ to low, medium or high; close the lid and wait until the Pulse BBQ has preheated - a tone will sound to indicate when it is ready to start grilling!

Grease Management System The Grease Management System for the Weber Pulse BBQ is the same system used for all of the Weber Q range. It helps prevent flare ups and drippings not vaporised are funnelled into a drip pan under the cookbox which can then be disposed of.
