What we know: Entry Level does not mean basic - the 3 BBQs in this range gets 5 stars from us because of the price point and fantastic finish. The 2025 Spirit Range is an enormous improvement on the previous ranges made between 2013 - 2024 Classic Standard all come with enclosed carts. Inside the door you can stow away up to a 13kg gas bottle and various tools. The range comes in a 2 burner, 3 burner and 4 burner option. |
What we know: The same characteristics as the Classic Standard but with up to 25% extra oomph from Sear Boost function. The Sear Zone is marked with red markings on the control panel and sear burners. |
What we know: Black Standard comes with a sleaker Stainless Steel Control panel and side tables that are fully Weber Works compatible. Analogue Lid thermometer is replaced with a digital thermometer on the side table |
What we like: - Great price point - The 4 burner model gives fantastic temperature control - We like the painted side tables, which seem hardier and more wear resistant than previous Spirit Ranges |
What we like: - Even more variation on the temperature range than the Classic Standard Range. |
What we like: - Fresh out of the box, this has more of a premium finish and looks incredibly stylish. - It comes with 4 castor wheels, so deals with our previous complaint. |
What we don’t like: Nothing much - only has 2 wheels so moving it means lifting one end - no big deal. |
What we don’t like: - Same as previous, the two wheels - When the Classic Standard gets hot enough, do I really need to burn more gas to get it even hotter? Probably not. |
What we don’t like: - I actually like the painted finish on the previous 2 sub categories because cleaning fingerprints and grease off Stainless Steel is a hardship I could do without, especially when paying a premium |
